Microsoft Vista Registry Cleaner – Can Most Registry Cleaners Repair Vista?

February 21st, 2010 admin No comments
Richard Cartwright asked:

Vista is still rather new technology, and it’s constantly being updated and improved for even better performance! Are you having problems with your Windows Vista? Maybe you should get to the bottom of the problem and start today.

Let’s start with the obvious question: What is a registry, what is a registry cleaner, and how can it help me?

Well for starters – a registry is something that is in every single Windows program, and it saves every single program, application, and information on each. It’s highly important to the functioning of the computer.

You know how your brain tells you how to naturally breathe, how your heart to beat, and how to digest food? Well, you can think of Windows Vista being the same thing, it ultimately tells you how to perform these simple functions!

What is a registry cleaner? It’s simple – it will repair the registry, you see, the registry collects tons of junk overtime and you will have to clean it up eventually! By cleaning all the spyware, adware, and viruses that come onto your registry after extended internet surfing – it will start to slow down your computer.

By getting a Windows Vista certified registry, you will be able to get a registry cleaner that keeps up with new technology, helps clean your computer, and speed it up to like when you first got it!

Most people would try to repair their system themselves – but would usually fail miserably in the process. If you try to manually delete specific files out of your registry – you could damage your computer and then you’d really need an expert! So be sure you use professional tools to repair your registry!

Shareware Registry Cleaners Are Everywhere! Are There Any Good Ones?

Dominic Phelps asked:

Registry cleaners are specially designed software that primary function to fix the bugs in the Windows registry. Registry issues are faced by all of us. Before going into the details of the various Windows registry issues let me explain a bit about what a windows registry is. Windows registry is the database where all information about the different software installed on the computer is stored. The information about hardware is also interned here and the computer uses this information to perform its functions. With the passage of time and many different installations of software and hardware, the data in the registry gets corrupted and gives way to very slow responses of the processor. This corruption of the registry ultimately leads to a complete crash of the computer. One can easily get rid of registry issues by using a registry cleaner. These registry  fixes are made easy by using a registry cleaning software..

This software performs a set of functions that allow your registry to recover and get rid of all the corrupt files and programs. This software detects these corrupt files and expunges them. A registry cleaner also filters the bad data from the good data so that no important files are lost. It also does a backup of all the necessary files and makes them available for restoration.

The whole process of cleaning doesn’t take more than ten minutes if you are using a good software. There are also many registry cleaners, which are available at either very cheap rates or completely free, but they are not any good. These are called Shareware Registry Cleaners and should be avoided at all costs. This software just detects the errors at most and that is done in a very slow fashion. There is also a danger that they will delete all of the registry files, as they are unable to separate the good files from the corrupt files. The risk of losing your precious data is very high if you are using such cleaners. It has also been found that many Shareware versions contain Trojans and viruses thus rendering your computer totally useless.

Registry cleaners are a great invention!  Registry fixes are made easy be made and and errors prevented by using this software. . Read a good review from someone who has used the registry cleaner before buying it. Just make a good choice and you’ll be able to save your system and get it back up to lightening speed!

Registry Cleaner – Knowing and Understanding the Basics of a Registry Cleaner Tool

Willie Mark Jonas asked:

Understanding the basics of something is always a good start to further enhance your knowledge about it and because not everyone knows what a registry cleaner is, some things must be clarified before they can be used. Here are some guide questions that will help you understand what a registry cleaner is and what it does to your computer:

• Why do I need a registry cleaner?

All Windows-based computers work on a registry based database that is a keeper of all the junk accumulated by your computer. If you are probably wondering why there are unexpected errors happening to your computer, the reason is your faulty registry. A registry cleaner will clean and rid your registry from all the errors allowing your computer to work and function well again. It will correct and delete all the errors on your computer making your life easier.

• Where can I get a registry cleaner?

Registry cleaners can easily be downloaded on the internet for a certain fee. Just be sure to get a good quality cleaner that is compatible with your computer. You can get trial versions before purchasing just to be sure.

• How will it clean my computer?

A good cleaner has features that are able to help your computer work well again. The scan and repair and the backup feature are just some of those features that will help make your computer be like brand new again. The scan and repair scans the registry for genuine errors and then repairs them when they are confirmed to be errors.

Good quality cleaners will not remove files that are not really errors and will also give you a list of the errors found in your registry.

• Are there any other benefits?

Another efficient feature is the backup feature which helps you to make a backup of your files before changes are made when the cleanup is started. This is one of the most important features because it allows you to go back to your original settings if any problems are encountered and it also saves you from the hassle of having to recover files.

A registry cleaner will also schedule a daily cleanup for you so you do not have to forget and let your computer experience errors again. Just configure your settings and it will automatically run scans for you.
Another feature is the defrag feature that removes registry keys that comes from uninstalled programs

These are the basics of a registry cleaner that you should know although one more thing that you should know is that does your computer really need a registry cleaner right now? If the answer is yes, then at least by now you know what to do and what it does.

Registry Cleaners – Do You Really Need a Registry Cleaner?

February 14th, 2010 admin No comments
Erat Chow asked:

Is your computers lack of speed driving you crazy? If yes, you need to use registry cleaners, but remember any registry cleaner will not do. You need to be aware which one is safe and reliable.

It is a common knowledge that you have to frequently scan your PC for spy-ware and viruses. However, one problem that many people face is that, despite having no spy-ware, ad-ware or viruses, the computer runs slow. The scans show no results for either spy-wares or viruses and yet the computer runs very slowly. This is because you missed out on registry cleaning. It is very important that you have a registry cleaner besides anti-virus and anti-spy-ware.

When you uninstall or remove something from your PC, the component gets deleted but the registry entry for that component stays. This adds up over time and clogs your registry with unnecessary entries, which slows down your PC. In addition, when your anti-virus or anti-spy-ware detects something and deletes, it manages to delete the harmful component, but fails to remove the registry entry created by the spy-ware or virus. This slows down the computer even more. In fact, it makes the computer work double time. Therefore, registry cleaners are a must if you want to protect your PC and avoid crashes and slow responses.

Some people will advice you to avoid using registry cleaners because they sometimes delete important registry entries. This was a valid advice in the past as registry cleaners were not very advanced. However, with newer versions of registry cleaners, this is not a problem since they have a very sophisticated algorithm that can detect whether a registry entry is important or harmful.

Registry Cleaners – Do You Really Need Registry Cleaners? Find Out How Registry Cleaners Work

Saif Chy asked:

Is your computer or browser getting slower day by day? Does your computer hangs or crashes frequently? Do you think registry cleaners will help to speed up your computer? Most people don’t realize or might not be aware about registry cleaners. They just keep trying one after another anti virus softwares and sometimes even antispyware softwares. But the reason behind your problem might not be because of a virus or spy ware. It may have have many different causes.

One of the most common problem is the registry. Very few of us ever check our registry to see if any particular program is running without our awareness. At times, programs run in the computer without showing their presence in the desktop. A good example of this is a virus. Virus are programmed in such a way that it is meant not to show its presence to the user. A good programmer can manually figure out and remove the virus without using any anti virus software because they know where it is present. In most cases, programmers first know the presence of a virus by looking at the registry. So how do we open the registry and deal with viruses?

Registry can be opened with many softwares but the easiest way is by pressing ctrl, alt and delete at the same time. Registry will have 5 tabs but we don’t have to deal with all of them. In the applications tab, all the running programs which a user opens are shown. If a particular program is not responding after we start, we can close it from here by just selecting it and pressing end task. In process tab, we have all the programs running in our RAM. Here the programs may not necessarily be started by the user. Some viruses, malwares, adwares, spywares can be noticed from here and can be closed by selecting it and pressing end task but most of them don’t. But firstly, before dealing with anything in this tab we must to identify each process which is running.

Let’s take some of the examples from my registry and what I do. Firstly, I never deal with process which has the “username” as system, network service or local service. I only deal with the process which has my username. If you don’t know what your user name is, just check it by pressing the start button where you will see log off (your username). That same user name will be mentioned in the process tab in the registry. You just have to check whether that process was something started by you or not. If something looks new to you in the registry and you know you haven’t started that process then before closing the process by pressing end task, it is recommended that you make a quick Google search about the process and know about it. Another thing which I usually check is the “mem usage” in the process tab of the registry. This will show you how much space a particular process is occupying in your RAM. It might be useful to look at that because you might sometimes need to close a particular program if it occupying to much space of your RAM and ultimately making your computer or other process slow.

But these strategies might now always work as sometimes viruses and adwares might be more tricky to not show themselves in the registry. Sometimes, there are empty registry keys in the registry which will make it slower. Or you might have many unnecessary cookies in your browser. So the best solution to this problem is to use a registry cleaner. Once you use a registry cleaner, you don’t have to manually go a check your problem in the registry. I have personally used many registry cleaners but found registry easy to be the best of all as the scan is the fastest and gives you immediate result of your scan. Once you scan and repair the problems with this software, you will feel the difference in your computer immediately.

Registry Utilities Review – CyberDefender Registry Cleaner

Amene Katanda asked:

The latest born from the PC security firm CyberDefender, the registry repair utility CyberDefender Registry Cleaner(TM) is one of the newest repair tools to help your PC run at top performance.

What you may need CyberDefender Registry Cleaner

The average computer user will install and uninstall hundreds of applications during a PC lifetime. During the process a huge amount of junk will remain in the computer registry (specifically because most installation/ uninstallations do not remove registry entries which are left behind and end up cluttering the registry).

Another source of registry clutter is the extensive use of internet social networking sites like facebook. Most people are unaware of the amount of registry entries that each session on these virtual spaces make on their PC. It is only when errors crop up or the PC runs slower that computer users become aware of the problem.

Cleaning up your registry should be a routine activity.

Most computer experts recommend running a registry utility to fix registry issues in order to keep your computer running at its best performance.

Cyber defender’s new robust Registry Cleaner easily fixes the registry and restores the speed and performance of your PC, fixes system errors and crashes, backs up the entire registry and clears duplicate and junk files.

Why you would want to stay away from CyberDefender Registry Cleaner

This is yet another utility in a market that is fast getting overcrowded.

CyberDefender Registry Cleaner is a relatively new software which has not been tested in the market, and whose weaknesses may still be unknown. Like most third party cleaners, the risk of deletion of vital registry elements, especially DLL entries in something not to ignore.
